Who is Tisca Chopra?
Tisca Chopra is an Indian actress, author, and filmmaker, who was born on 1st November 1973 in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh. She did her initial schooling from The Lawrence School, Sanawar and Apeejay School, Noida. Later she completed her Literature from Hindu College and joined theatre. Meanwhile, she also tried her hands on writing and collaborated with publishers. After a while, she moved to Mumbai to learn nuances of acting.
Tisca has been a part of several prestigious projects. However, she came to lime light from Aamir Khan’s starrer movie Taare Zameen Par, released in 2007. Where Tisca and Darsheel Safary were in parallel lead.
In 2016, Tisca made her debut as a producer from short film Chutney, the movie was produced under her production house called ‘The Eastern Way’. The short film was presented at the film festival, which got her 2 awards under Best Actor and Best Film category.
Although, Tisca has appeared in countless movies and shows. However, her most notable role in recent years is in Hotstar web series ‘Hostages’, where she played the part of Dr. Mira Anand.
In 2022, Tisca Chopra acted in Dharma’s ‘Jug Jug Jeeyo’, where she played the role of Anil Kapoor’s secret girlfriend ‘Meera’.
Soon, she will be seen in Hotstar’s upcoming web series ‘Dahan‘. Although, we have not received any confirmation on the release date.

Debut and Career
After finishing her Bachelor’s Tisca Chopra aka Priya Arora moved to Mumbai and joined Theatre groups, where she met some of the legendary actors like Naseeruddin Shah and Feroz Khan. Tisca participated in several plays, however, her performance in Dinner with Friends was praised by both, critics and audience.
After spending enough time in theatre, she moved towards television and became a part of the several tv shows.
