Plot Summary
The film follows Anna, who meets her ex-lover Nunzio years later at a school reunion. Nunzio tells her that he needs an older woman for his play, and Anna gives her mother’s phone number, thinking her mother would be happy to act again on stage. But a few days later, while having family lunch, Nonna, as in Giuliana, told her family that she and Nunzio are dating. While Anna and her husband try to tell her mom what happened to the two ex-wives of Nunzio, she does not want to hear anything and tells them she has decided to get married to Nunzio in Menorca. Did Giuliana and Nunzio get married?
Why Does Anna Want To Kill Nunzio?
Anna immediately, when she heard that her mother was dating Nunzio, and they were going to renovate Nunzio’s theater, was skeptical of this relationship. Because she knows Nonna has received a huge sum of money as an inheritance and thinks Nunzio is also after this money and nothing else. So she makes up her mind to talk to her mother and dig up old dirt about Nunzio’s ex-wives and how mysteriously they have died. But Nonna is adamant about marrying him. Anna makes up her mind that Nunzio will kill her mother, so she thinks that the only way to prevent that is to kill Nunzio. In the beginning, she did not want to talk to her family and wanted to solve this matter by herself, but her family supports her and wants to save their Nonna. Ale, the daughter, comes up with a plan to kill Nunzio with an herb before the wedding and stage it like a suicide. The family thinks of this as a foolproof plan because the plant can only be found in that region.

Emilio, the son, decides to call their ‘suicide mission’ Suntanning. While out sightseeing with Nunzio on a high cliff, Ale had a chance to push Nunzio from the cliff into the sea. Emilio screams Ale to sun tan. The siblings have a bit of an argument about who should get suntanned, but ultimately Ale could not bring herself to push Nunzio, and they miss the opportunity to kill Nunzio.
How Did The Mission To Find Aconitine Go?

Ale and Emilio went out to find aconitine in the woods. Emilio decides to sit down, wait, and be on the lookout while Ale goes on to find the plant. When Ale came back empty-handed, she saw Emilio sleeping near a bush, unaware of what he was sleeping on. As a comic turn of events, Ale notices that Emilio has rashes on his body, and Emilio is sleeping on that aconitine plant. They went to the hospital and could not take the plant because if the police decide to investigate, they’ll find out who killed Nunzio and how.
How Did The Delle Fave Family Try To Stage One Of Nunzio’s Suicidal Episodes?
The Delle Fave family tries to stage proof to show Nunzio has suicidal tendencies. They tried to influence Nunzio to hold his breath underwater more than their father. Nunzio accepts the challenge, boasting that he is a trained scuba diver and can stay underwater for more than a minute and a half. Nunzio asked them to take their car and go on a ride around the island, and when they will come back, he’d still be underwater. As a part of the plan, Ale, Emilio, and Carlo came back and acted like Nunzio is trying to kill himself by drowning, and they act like they saved him. Later on, Carlo went to Luis, the caretaker, and told him that Nunzio was going through depression, and he tried to kill himself in the pool. When Carl asks if they can see the CCTV footage, Luis says that the camera does not work; it is just there to scare away thieves.
What Was The Pact Between Anna And Bojan?
Bojan, although blind, hears Anna talking to her family about their plan to murder Nunzio and tries to blackmail her for money. He asked for one million euros as a price to keep his mouth shut. But Anna negotiated with Bojan and settled the amount for four hundred thousand dollars, and she promised Anna to tell the police that Nunzio had tried to kill himself in Montevideo last year.
Did They Manage To Kill Nunzio?
On the night of the festival, when Anna has plans to kill Nunzio during dinner, she sends away unexpected guests of Nonna to the festival with Bojan to keep the villa empty for the murder. Carlo drugged Nunzio’s drink with sedatives to make him fall asleep. But when it was the actual time to murder, Ale and Emilio could not bring themselves to do the act and tried to make excuses and question their decisions. After they left, Anna and Carlo dragged the unconscious body of Nunzio to the garage and threw him inside of it. They planned to connect the exhaust pipe of the car to a hose and start the car, which would suffocate Nunzio and cause him to die. But they could not find an exhaust pipe in the car because it’s electrical. After thinking about different things and about their mother’s happiness, they gave up on their plan to kill Nunzio.
The Price Of Nonna’s Inheritance Ending Explained
Delle Fave’s could not kill Nunzio and went to sleep. Suddenly, late at night, they heard gunshots, which woke them up. When they went near the pool, they found Nunzio bleeding on the ground, and Luis has shot Nunzio because he saw his wife, Patricia, and Nunzio being intimate. Anna tries to console her mother in the hospital, but she has made plans to go on a trip to Brazil after Nunzio is heAled. But before that, she will send all of her inherited money to Anna’s account. She even tells Anna that she knows Nunzio’s intentions, but she wants to enjoy her life, act like she has money, and make Nunzio her slave. Anna went to the beach with her family and told them Nonna has called off the wedding and expressed her wish to go on a trip again when they would not have to plan for any murder.
