Plot Summary

In Sweet Home Season 3, watch as humans, monsters, and new beings clash in exciting battles. The survivors face fresh dangers while trying to stay human in a world filled with monsters.

Cha Hyun-su is now a mix of monster and human, trying to control his monster side. Seo Yi-Kyung, who was once a monster, returns to her human self with Hyun-su’s help. This season also introduces Lee Eun-hyuk, a new kind of being who can talk to monsters and is almost unkillable.

The survivors, led by Sergeant Kim, fight against special infectees led by Nam Sang-won. These infectees turn soldiers into monsters, but a special infectee named Ja-yeong helps the Crow Platoon by taking down the monsters they have to fight.

As the survivors head towards the stadium, they face many challenges and must make tough choices to stay alive. The season ends with a dramatic battle where Hyun-su and his friends fight to save humanity and find a way to live with the monsters. Sang-won takes the Mystery Girl on a quiet drive, away from the other survivors. During this private time, he tries to connect with her and earn her trust, promising to give her whatever she wants if she shows him how she controls monsters. She tells him that monsters don’t hurt her. When he asks to see it, she gladly agrees, maybe curious about her own abilities. The Mystery Girl summons a huge mountain monster by kneeling on the ground and saying “Wake up, Let’s Play.” This amazing display shows her unique ability to call and control powerful monsters.

How Does Eun-yu’s Interaction With Eun-Hyuk Reveal His Emotional State?

Eun-yu finally finds her brother, Eun-hyuk, amid the human-monster conflict. She is thrilled at first, but her joy quickly turns to confusion and sadness when she sees how much he has changed. Eun-hyuk explains that he has become a neohuman, meaning he has lost his feelings but still remembers things. He acts very cold compared to the brother Eun-yu used to know, though he still holds onto a family photo, showing he hasn’t completely forgotten his past. During their conversation, Eun-yu picks up a piece of paper and Eun-hyuk’s old spectacles. She tells him how he used to cling to her and annoy her when they were apart. Eun-hyuk, emotionless, puts on the spectacles, then complains about how long Hyun-su will take and throws the spectacles on the floor. Eun-yu is heartbroken by his lack of emotion and tries to reach out, but Eun-hyuk mocks her and denies they are really siblings, revealing his struggle between his remaining humanity and his new self. Despite this, Eun-yu is determined to break through his coldness and rebuild their relationship, showing the strength of their bond despite everything that has changed.

Are Hyun-su And Eun-hyuk Able To Save Yi-su From Being Controlled By Sang-woo?

Hyun-su arrives at the empty stadium, determined to save Yi-su. There, he finds Sang-won, who has taken over Yi-su’s body. Sang-won mocks Hyun-su, trying to break his spirit. The confrontation is intense, as Hyun-su fights both physically and emotionally to reach Yi-su’s mind. Just when things seem hopeless, Eun-hyuk shows up. Seeing how serious the situation is, he decides to act quickly. Eun-hyuk stabs Yi-su’s body to try and mess up Sang-won’s control.

Even though Eun-hyuk acts, Hyun-su stops him from killing Yi-su. Hyun-su believes that Yi-su can be saved without her dying. Things get worse when Sang-won’s followers arrive and start attacking, causing confusion and making it harder for Hyun-su and Eun-hyuk to save Yi-su. In the chaos, Eun-hyuk keeps trying to hurt Yi-su, thinking it’s the only way to stop Sang-won.

During the fight, a flying monster distracts Hyun-su, giving Eun-hyuk a chance to throw a stake at Yi-su. As Sang-won tries to stop it, Yi-su briefly takes control and lets the stake hit her. After being pushed out of Yi-su’s body, Sang-won takes over another person, but Hyun-su and Eun-hyuk keep chasing him. In the end, Sang-won is defeated when he and Sang-wook are burned in a bonfire. Surprisingly, Yi-su, who was badly hurt, starts to heal.

The Lee siblings face huge emotional and physical struggles. Eun-hyuk, now a neohuman, decides to leave and tells Hyun-su that if Eun-yu comes back, it means she has also become a neohuman. Meanwhile, Eun-yu is dealing with her change into a monster, going through intense fever and seeing hallucinations of her brother comforting her. Even though she is in a lot of pain and facing tough battles, there is still hope because Hyun-su is determined to find her and help her get back her humanity.
