Shweta Tripathi was born and raised in Delhi. She did her 10th and 12th education from Delhi Public School, R.K Puram. Afterwards, she moved to Andaman and Nicobar along with her family and stayed there for 3 years. After returning to Delhi, she joined National Institute of Fashion Technology and finished graduation in Fashion Communication. Post that, she joined a theatre in Delhi where she learnt nuances of acting. Prior to the training, she participated in various college events and functions. However, she never thought that one day she would become an actress.

Debut and Career
Shweta Tripathi made her acting debut in 2009 from Disney’s tv show ‘Kya Mast Hai Life‘. In the kids based show she played the role of Zenia Khan. After this she did couple of non-commercial films where her role was negligible. In 2015, Shweta got her first break in a lead role from Hindi feature film ‘Masaan‘, featured alongside Vicky Kaushal and Richa Chadha. For Masaan, she received the Zee Cine Award for the best supporting actress.
