- So Ji Sub as Kim Young-ho/John Kim: Kim is a personal trainer and a fitness expert to Hollywood stars. But after his Hollywood scandal with an actress, he comes to the spotlight. Kim Young-Ho comes to Korea to let the scandal wipe off. Kim has his own emotional scars from the past. On his way back to Korea Kim saves Kang Joo-eun when she collapses suddenly. However, a series of events bring them together and he reveals his affection to Kang Joo-eun. A thing becomes complicated when it is revealed that he is the CEO of his family’s company and will become his grandmother’s successor.
- Shin Min-a as Kang Joo-eun: Kang Joo-eun is a lawyer by profession who is blunt and hard-working. She was the “Venus of Daegu” when she was in high school, but in fulfilling her dream of becoming a lawyer she gains weight and feels no longer beautiful. Her boyfriend she has 15 years of relationship got dumped by him on their anniversary. In that sad situation, Kang Joo-Eun takes a trip to the USA for work, and when she is heading to Korea, she faints with too much alcohol, medication and corset puts her in respiratory distress. Meanwhile Kin is also on the same plane he saves her, and they meet several times. After knowing that he is a fitness expert Kang Joo asks for his help to lose weight.
- Jung Gyu Woon as Im Woo-shik: He is a former national swimmer. He met Kang Joo when she was still in High school, and they fell for each other. But after some time, Im Woo-shik loses interest in Kang Joo and secretly dates Oh Soo-Jin, who is Kang Joo’s former best friend. And then Im Woo officially breaks up with Kang Joo.
- Yoo In-young as Oh Soo-jin: She is an overweight girl in school with very self-conscious and lonely until Kang Joo befriends her. But now she is a successful lawyer, with the body of a supermodel after weight loss, she takes a job at the same company where Kang Joo works as her superior and even dates Im Woo to exact revenge form, Kang Joo, as he was jealous of her looks.
- Sung Hoon as Jang Joon-sung: A professional MMA fighter and trained by John Kim. He was an orphan, but John Kim took him as his student.
- Henry Lau as Kim Ji-woong: He is the Joo Sang Manger, a goofy and nice person.

Oh My Venus Story Explained?
This romantic comedy series follows the story of Kang Joo-eun who is dumped by her boyfriend after gaining weight. She decides to make changes after feeling unhappy and insecure about her appearance. She asked Kim Young-ho to help her and make a transformation in her life too. And while overcoming her insecurity, Joo-eun gradually grows close to Young-ho as he helps her with her physical and emotional transformation too.
As Joo-eun starts her weight loss journey, she has to go through various challenges and encounter different people who impact her life. On the way she forms a strong bond with Young-ho who is her huge supporter; their relationship gradually evolves into a deep emotional connection.

In the final episodes, Kang Joo-eun successfully loses weight and regains her self-confidence with the help of Kim. They overcome various obstacles together and develop a deep romantic connection.
When Kim Young-ho faces a major health challenge, and he requires surgery Joo-eun stands beside him throughout the difficult time and supports Kim. Their bond gets even stronger during Kim’s recovery.
Then we see a time jump where Kim Young-ho and Kang Joo-Eun live happily together. Joo-eun continues her lawyer career and Kim focuses on his personal training business. They found true love and happiness in each other.
The ending theme emphasizes inner beauty and self-acceptance.
