Who is Meera?
Meera’s full name is Meera Vijay Antony. She is the daughter of well known actor and music director Vijay Antony who lives in Alwarpet, Chennai. On 19 September 2023, Meera’s life came to an end after she committed suicide at 3 am by hanging herself from fan in her Teynampet house.
When Vijay looked into her room, he found her hanging with dupatta, he took her down with the help of house help and immediately rushed to the Kaveri Hospital where Meera was declared dead by the doctors.
Meera was 16 years old, she was studying in 12th standard in Sacred Heart School, Anna Salai, Chennai. She was an achiever and a brilliant child. In March 2023, she became the cultural secretary of her school students association. Vijay Antony and Fatima have one more younger daughter named ‘Lara’ who stays with them.
Meera Vijay Antony’s Death Reason
As per the reports, Meera was going through severe depression. Infact, she was taking therapy sessions to deal with her stress. Her untimely death has given everyone a huge shock.
During initial investigation, police found Meera’s death unnatural, therefore, a case has been filed and an investigation is going on. Previously, Vijay Antony had also lost his father due to suicide.
