The web series “Kaala Paani” unfolds a gripping survival drama set against the eerie backdrop of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The tale is spun around a group of individuals who find themselves stranded on a remote island chain plagued by a mysterious and deadly disease. As they grapple with the harsh realities of nature, they must fight tooth and nail to survive the ordeal that has befallen them.​
At the core of the story is the age-old struggle between man and nature. The vast sea confines them to this dangerous locale, and as they try to find a way out of this perilous situation, they discover that their destinies are intertwined in this harrowing battle against the forces of nature​.

The title “Kaala Paani” draws from a historical term coined during the British Raj, which referred to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. These islands were once a place of harsh punishment for political prisoners and hardened criminals
