Amelia has no idea that her best friend has feelings for her and Archie, on the other hand, fails to express his feelings. Every time he makes up his mind to propose to Amelia, one thing or another happens, and he can’t confess. The story is fast-forwarded to the last semester in high school and on the first day Archie plans to confess his love to Amelia later. Archie has everything planned out. However, one day, a new boy named ‘Billy’ got admission in school and Amelia start to have a crush on him. Later in the night on the movie date arranged by Archie, Amelia confessed that she loved Billy, and Archie couldn’t express his feelings again.

Archie promises Amelia to introduce her to the Love Doctor his parents consult. But Amelia has no idea that it is Archie who is going to disguise himself as the Love Doctor. He got the idea to disguise himself from the school’s drama club. Archie thought if he was the Love Doctor he could sabotage Amelia and Billy’s relationship. Archie uses AI to scan his face and make a much older version of him and starts to talk to Amelia as the real Love Doctor. The Love Doctor starts to advise Amelia about how she should approach Billy.

The real Love Doctor is known to help people in love. And Archie, as the fake Love Doctor, tries to make sure that Billy and Amelia’s love connection never happens. Archie aka Love Doctor’s every plan to spoil the relationship backfires when Billy asks Amelia out on a date. But for that date, Archie advises Amelia to act rudely towards Billy. Amelia acts just like Archie says her weird, rude behaviour angers Billy and leaves him upset. Billy leaves Amelia alone on the road, saying that the date was a mistake.
Why did Amelia decide to make all her secrets public?
The next day, Amelia acknowledges her mistake and decides to make up for her fault. She goes to the school’s announcement room and exposes all of her embarrassing secrets to the school, including the death of her mother. The entire school appeared outside the announcement room and tried to make fun of her, and started taking her pictures. Archie understood that he had taken things too far. Billy also comes to the announcement room, hearing Amelia cry. Archie nevertheless, as a friend, tried to stop other kids from making fun of Amelia and used a nearby extinguisher to scare them away. He asked Billy to go to Amelia and in the heat of the moment, when they were about to kiss, the principal came and stopped them.

Amelia falls asleep in the movie theatre when she goes out with him. Amelia starts questioning them about her relationship with Billy and goes to her father. Amelia talked about her father and her mother’s relationship, which made her realise that she was trying to find love everywhere, in every wrong place when the person she loved was right in front of her. The next day, the day of Spring Prom, Amelia ditched Billy and escaped to Archie’s house to confess her love.

Amelia found out about Archie’s lie about him being the face behind the Love Doctor. Amelia is disheartened and leaves for the prom alone. But when Archie reaches the party, some bullies dragged Archie, beat him and left him hanging upside down in the group. While inside the hall, Amelia talks to Billy and apologises to him for breaking his heart. Billy helped and untied Archie and asked him to go to Amelia. Archie stopped the musical performance, went up on the stage and confessed his love to Amelia.
