Heeramandi web series cast features Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Richa Chadha in the main lead.
The lead actresses are playing the role of courtesans from Heeramandi, a place in Lahore which lost their esteem during the British era and turned into the prostitution hub. The story of Heeramandi was written by Moin Bag 14 years ago which was ment to be film now turned to a 8 episodic series.
The series is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali under the banner of Bhansali Productions and directed by Mitakshara Kumar. The casting of Heeramandi web series is done by Shruti Mahajan.
The series will release tentatively in February 2024 on the Netflix OTT app. However, the exact date of release is not announced yet.
