The prosecutor claimed that Mehdi instructed Douglas Arnfeldt to murder Bilal because Bilal joined a dropout program. Mehdi denied these accusations. Then, they played an interview with Douglas Arnfeldt.
Following that, Bilal’s mother spoke. She said that Bilal regretted his actions and wanted to leave everything behind. He didn’t want to be involved anymore. The prosecutor asked her how Mehdi reacted to this. She replied that Mehdi demanded payment to release Bilal, and even though the family gave everything they had, Mehdi wanted more. After more questioning, Mehdi maintained that he didn’t give Douglas the gun. This complicated things, especially for Farid, who wanted Mehdi off the streets. The main trial concluded, and the verdict would be announced the following Thursday at 9 a.m. Until then, Mehdi Bah would remain in custody.
