Alyssa Jean Healy’s cricketing journey started to take off when she was called up to compete for the New South Wales team. They played in the Under-19 Inter-State tournament in January 2007. As an under-17 player, this performance helped her to make her path further.

She played for the first time against New Zealand in February 2010 during the Rose Bowl series. She contributed significantly to her team’s victories, performing in ODIs and T20Is.
During 2010-11-12, she went through challenges and fluctuation in forms. But, she proved her ability as a dynamic cricketer, contributing with both bat and gloves. Some of her most notable performances came in the 2010 World Twenty20 games. She helped Australia win the competition with a perfect record.
