Ketan Mehta’s Sardar is a biopic based on the life of freedom fighter Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. In this film Paresh Rawal played the character of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. The film got released in 2003 in the Hindi language.
The Tashkent Files
Directed by Vivek Agnihotri, The Tashkent Files was based on the mysterious death of India’s former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shashtri. The film got released in 2019, prior to its release the film got into trouble when it received a legal notice from PM’s grandsons. The main characters of the film are Naseeruddin Shah, Mithun Chakraborty, Pankaj Tripathi, Pallavi Joshi, Shweta Basu Prasad and Mandira Bedi. The film is available to watch on Zee5 Ott platform.
