Due to criticism across the country, the Ramayana inspired movie ‘Adipurush‘ did not fare well at the box office. As per the sources, the Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer movie has collected over 450 crore gross worldwide. However, the movie is at the verge of ending its theatrical run, as it is earning less than 50 lakh rupees daily. There are also reports that movie can incur a loss of over 50 crore rupees. However, makers of the film have not released any official statement on it yet.

Adipurush made a bumper opening of 133 crore rupees worldwide, however, the collection got tanked afterwards. Its Day 2 earning was 65 crore rupees, Day 3 was 64 crores, Day 4 was 20 crores, Day 5 was 10.80 crores, Day 6 collection was 7.2 crores, Day 7 was 4.8 crores, Day 8 was 3.2 crores, Day 9 was 2 crores, Day 10 was 6 crore rupees, Day 11 was 1.75 crores, Day 12 was 1.9 crores, Day 13 was 1.5 crores and Day 14 was merely 1 crore Indian rupees.
The Box office collection is across all languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
If we look at the August month collection the movie is averaging around 25-30 lakhs in India on a daily basis.

According to media sources, Adipurush made a total worldwide collection of over 450 crore rupees and it it expected to touch the 500 crore mark soon. Regardless of its collection, the analysts indicate that the movie will be in loss and it won’t be able to recover its production cost.

Adipurush Box Office – Hit or Flop
T-series invested over 600 crores in the making of Adipurush. Even after selling its ott rights to Amazon Prime Video and Netflix for 250 crore rupees it won’t be able to make any profit.
Therefore, Adipurush proved to be a flop at the box office.
